Tuc. As in the British saying, “to tuck in.” You’ll want to do exactly that with the Canadian seasonal menu at Tuc Craft Kitchen. But locals will tell you it’s equally “Tuc” as in “tucked away.” With a subtle façade on a quiet strip of Gastown, Tuc Craft Kitchen remains as a hidden neighbourhood gem. Brunch. It’s a passionate topic for a lot of local foodies. Yet, don’t think it’s “brunch or bust” at Tuc – count on dim lights and refined plates for date-night, or unwind with a cocktail at the vintage bar.

The show-stopping Crispy Chicken and Waffles at brunch. Seriously, it’s hard not to stare. The bacon-wrapped tempura egg is a crowd favourite. In the evenings, Pork Belly Crackling and Orange Glazed Ribs are staples to share.

The back story:
Longtime friends Roy, Colin, and James were inspired to create a timeless space in Gastown that would appear to have always been a part of the historic community. You’ll catch it in the details – reclaimed wood, salvaged tin walls, and a massive cam chain that suspends the bar.
The trio began their journey together in the kitchen of Milestones and grew their passion for the restaurant industry. Guests are invited to “tuck in” at Tuc, with great food and great drinks, made with love.
