Tech-types from the neighbourhood grabbing breakfast on-the-go. Gastown boutique owners catching up over coffee in the afternoon.
The sweet spot:
Purebread Gastown opens at 8:30am and closes at 5:30pm, daily. For the ultimate selection of breakfast goodies, arrive before 10:00am.
The Food:
We haven’t had anything we didn’t like at Purebread. Never ever. Our all-time favourites include the chocolate cherry cookie, the bacon egg muffin, the OMG (chocolate brownie), the granola…
The back story:
Mark and Paula Lamming of Whistler, BC were inspired to “make good bread” after realizing a lack of options in the small mountain town. At their first farmers market, they were tremendously well-received by the community. With bakeries in Whistler, Squamish and Vancouver, the family-run business remains passionate about people, family and quality baking!
