I’ve always loved the idea of gift baskets. I’m the type of foodie that would prefer to fill my belly with many small items, rather than investing my whole appetite in one large plate. Our food tours in Vancouver actually cater to this very idea, and yes, we do offer gift certificates. But, if you’re in search of a similar foodie experience that can be enjoyed exclusively in comfort of your own home, a basket of artisan goodies and a Netflix recommendation will be right up your alley.
It’s a rarity that you get to enjoy a whole gift basket to yourself, but hey, if you win this week’s prize, please indulge as you see fit! With most gift baskets, you’ll be “dividing the loot” with the office, and everyone is crossing their fingers for the chocolate-covered shortbread.
Well, there’s great news for you at Urban Fare. In addition to having a catalog of preset arrangements, you can actually work with their Guest Services team to create a custom gift basket. This means, if you really really wanted to, you could fill a whole gift basket with Monkey Butter. Or with Cocoanymph chocolate. Or gingerbread men….
After you choose your favourite items for the perfect Christmas gift, the Urban Fare team will bundle it all up with ribbons and bows! Now, I’d call myself a DIY-er. In addition to writing this food blog, I also enjoy arts and crafts. With this in mind, I still highly encourage you to trust Urban Fare with the finishing touches on your holiday gift. You’ll quickly learn that wrapping a gift basket is an art – which they’ve mastered!
One thing to note: not all Urban Fare locations in Vancouver will always have a Santa bucket available. Before you proceed with your gift, it’s always best to check in with the Guest Services staff – they might just have some tasty recommendations for you, too!
Thanks for the read, Foodies! Don’t forget to enter to win lunch for 2 at Market by Jean-Georges if you haven’t done so already!
See you next week for the grand finale of our Holiday Gift Guide – you won’t want to miss it!
