For two short days a year, the sandwich gods at Meat and Bread bless the foodies of Vancouver with their famous Turducken Sandwich.
Turducken 2016: Dec 22-23, 2016
Touted as the “mother-of-all-sandwiches,” and the “world’s best sandwich,” the 2016 Turducken Sandwich features:
- chicken in a duck in a turkey, roasted to perfection
- gravy
- butternut squash remoulade
- classic stuffing, and
- a sweet/tart cranberry cumberland sauce
All of this, layered lovingly between two slabs of crusty bread!
Needless to say, there’s a line that sweeps around the block at both of Meat and Bread’s Vancouver locations. It’s a well-loved holiday tradition for foodies in Vancouver, and it’s not hard to see why!
