Experience Gastown – Vancouver’s most-historic, food-centric district – on a walking food tour filled with Canadian comfort foods, boozy cocktails, and engaging history!
Navigate the cobblestone maze of restaurants, boutiques, and historic sites to meet Gastown’s passionate restauranteurs, taste their creations, and connect with Vancouver’s beginnings.
The tour takes a savvy stroll along Gastown’s cobblestone streets, weaving through five city blocks of hidden alleys and historic buildings to tell the stories of Vancouver’s great fire, the not-so-peaceful 1970’s protest, and the social evolution of the neighbourhood.
The tour visits four award-winning, locally-owned restaurants, paying homage to Gastown’s boozy roots with four beer, wine and cocktail pairings. The tour is a stress-free, all-inclusive progressive meal with a sweet ending that’s (almost) too pretty to eat!
