Our gastronomic adventure begins with savoring dim sum from none other than Kirin Chinese Restaurant – Winner of Vancouver’s Best Dim Sum for the sixth consecutive year by Vancouver Magazine.
We then take you on a short stroll along Vancouver’s gourmet restaurant street and trendy shopping neighborhood before relaxing with a glass of Award Winning 100-Mile BC Wine paired with local nibbles, at the Sutton Place Wine Merchant.
Then we hop across the street to Hubbub, creator of Vancouver’s top 10 sandwiches for their Pulled Pork Sandwich and beer pairing. You’ll learn how this amazing sandwich is made and experience firsthand the magnetic appeal of this majestic sandwich.
We’ll share with you the city’s eco-friendly initiatives before stopping to enjoy a glass of Vancouver Artisan Sake Maker’s Junmai Sake paired with a writhingly fresh Wild Sockeye Salmon Tartar at ShuRaku Sake Bar and Bistro, Vancouver’s award winning Japanese Izakaya. You’ll then be presented with an agedashi tofu canape that’ll have you wondering why you aren’t a tofu-lover already. Our Culinary Guide will then take you on a stroll along Granville, Vancouver’s founding street, and share with you how just decades ago, Granville Street had the highest concentration of large neon signs in the world.
Finally, happy bellies are treated to a sweet ending with the best gelato and sorbetto on the continent at Bella Gelateria, winner of North America’s best gelato.
