JuneFoodie Tour Guide
What tours do you host?
Where have you travelled?
My parents are from Japan so I’ve been travelling back and forth between Canada and Japan since I was born. My favourite places in Japan are Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Shizuoka, and Okinawa. I’ve also travelled within the US and Canada, although the craziest place that I’ve ever been to has to be Peru! Swimming in the Amazon river watching the sunset is one of my most treasured memories.
What are your hobbies (besides eating)?
When I’m not hosting tours and trying new restaurants I work as a professional theatre artist in Vancouver. I’m a director, producer, writer, and performer with two different organizations, Popcorn Galaxies and New(to)Town Collective.
Why do you love hosting VFT?
What I love about Vancouver Foodie Tours is that it isn’t just about the delicious food – it’s also about sharing stories and cultural experiences. You get to eat, laugh, make new friends, and learn! I always have a fantastic time meeting new guests and learning interesting things about different culture and foods. I’m excited to share my stories about my hometown, Vancouver, and I’m equally as excited to hear stories from our guests!
“Best tour… So much fun and the food was amazing!”
